Where to see a children’s summer theater production

Shows are scheduled at the Palace Theatre in Manchester and Theater in the Wood in Intervale

If you are looking for a place to take to take your kids to see a show this summer, you are in luck. The Palace Theatre in Manchester and Theater in the Wood in Intervale are both offering in-person summer theater shows for kids.

The Bank of New Hampshire Children’s Summer Series at the Palace Theatre is a perennial favorite. Summer series productions are designed specifically for young children and their families. The Theater in the Wood’s youth campers, along with professional actors, perform shows to benefit the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation’s Healthy Readers Program. Masks are required and tickets ($5) must be purchased in advance. Shows are Fridays at 5 p.m. through Aug. 21. Purchase tickets here.
