What am *I* doing?

Week 1 project: (Attempted) family band

The first few days were easy. Then remote learning kicked-in, and my daughter had at least a few tasks to keep her busy for a while.

But now we’re coming up on the end of the first week of quarantine/school shutdown, and we’re starting to work a little harder to keep things interesting. Thing is, we’ve got a small collection of various musical instruments, so I figured it was time to put them to use.

Here’s the lineup of The Quarantrio:

Bass: My daughter is a musician (hopefully heading off to music school next fall, but we’ll see what havoc COVID-19 plays with schedules.)
Guitar: I’m a hack-hobbyist, so I picked up the Strat.
Percussion: Her mom has no musical training whatsoever, so we gave her a container of BBs to shake in time with the music.
Adoring fan: The dog.

It was a valiant effort. And it killed an afternoon.

Sorry, Sting.
