Some Good News holds class of 2020 commencement
John Krasinski’s Some Good News held its class of 2020 commencement, and it’s pretty impressive.
In a time when many graduations are being held remotely, Jim Halpert/Jack Ryan/film director/good guy Krasinski raised the bar by bringing in commencement speakers Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, John Stewart, Malala, and contributors Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.
Graduates themselves even got to take part by delivering some amazing speeches and asking questions directly of the show’s guests.
That list of guests offers advice to graduates about following their dreams, making the most of setbacks, how anything is possible, and what’s next. They’re big questions, but they elicit big answers.
