Support local dairies and have some ice cream

Where to find the best locally-made ice cream in NH

We don’t think ice cream should be limited to a particular season (after all, it’s just as delicious in the fall alongside a slice of homemade apple pie as it is during the springtime topped with fresh maple syrup) but summer just begs for cool, creamy, locally-made ice cream.

Here are some of our favorite ice cream shops that make their own ice cream on site. Please note that not all of these ice cream shops use NH-based milk or cream but many do use New England or local ingredients.

And it probably goes without saying, but in this unprecedented time of Covid-19, we encourage you to follow all state guidelines for health and wellness safety and check business websites for hours and other helpful information. We also remind you to be kind, patient and caring with businesses and fellow patrons.
