Five great events you can take your family to this month

Take your family to one of these five fun events for the family in July. This month features outdoor events that celebrate the arts, cars, movies and July 4, and all events keep social distancing top of mind. Before you go, be sure to check each event’s policies related to COVID-19.

Fireworks

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats is hosting families over three nights to view fireworks from the ball field or from the stands. Guests are permitted to bring food and sealed, non-alcoholic beverages in clear plastic bags and coolers (with restrictions). Limited concession options also available.

When: Thursday, July 2 through Saturday, July 4; gates open at 7 p.m., with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Classic car show

Once a year at the Aviation Museum of NH, the spotlight shines on vehicles that don’t leave the ground. The public can check out amazing rides from the region of all makes and eras, including odd or unusual vehicles. Hungry? Check out the food trucks.

Where: Aviation Museum of NH, 27 Navigator Road, Londonderry, NH

When: Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain date is Sunday, July 12)

Park and View Movie Nights

Join The Common Man and The Flying Monkey for an outdoor movie experience. Bring your lawn chairs if you’d like to sit right outside of your car.

When: Saturday, July 11 (Apollo 13) and Saturday, July 18 (How to Train Your Dragon); lots open at 7:30 p.m. with show at 8:30 p.m.

Where: North Main Street lot in Plymouth, NH (north of the National Guard, just off of Exit 26)

Music in the Park

Music in the Park, presented by the Bank of NH Stage and sponsored by Concord Pediatric Dentistry, is taking place Saturday nights in Concord. The Concord Community Music School has a small outdoor stage facing the Fletcher-Murphy Park, a perfect spot for early evening mini-concerts.

When: Saturdays in July, 7 p.m.

TEAM Exeter Arts & Music Festival

TEAM is a nonprofit organization run by local artists and musicians supporting homegrown talent. Enjoy live music, artist vendors, dance performances and food vendors. Plenty of open green space for casual social distancing. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

When: Saturday, July 11, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Swasey Parkway, Exeter, NH
