NH museums taking part in Museum Day
Visit participating museums for free this September.
Smithsonian Magazine has designated Saturday, September 22 as the 14th annual Museum Day. For one day only, participating museums across the United States, with a wide range of diverse exhibitions, will emulate the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington DC-based facilities, who offer free admission everyday, and open their doors for free to those who download a Museum Day ticket.
The public can visit smithsonian.com/museumday to download a Museum Day ticket that grants the ticket holder free admission for two people at the participating museums (see list below) on September 22. One ticket is permitted per household, per email address.
The theme this year is “Women Making History,” honoring women in society who are trailblazers in the arts, sciences, innovation and culture, and emboldening others to be pioneers.
For more information and a free ticket, go to Smithsonian.com/museumday.
