Open to all girls! Girl Scout experience is not required to go to Camp Farnsworth. Girls who are entering kindergarten in fall through grade 12 will find adventure and friendship at this resident Girl Scout camp in the mountains of Vermont.
Campers plan their own activities for one-week or two-week sessions, like making a bench in woodshop, trying yoga on stand-up paddleboards, conquering the climbing tower, hiking, swimming in the heated saltwater pool, discovering nature, and more. Specialty programs offer horseback riding, bike trips, and hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Girls in grades 9-12 are eligible for camp aid and barn aide positions, as well as counselors in training.
Overnight camping provides adventure packed with new friends, plenty of fun, and memories that will last a lifetime.
From the challenge course to the first time in a canoe, Camp Farnsworth encourages girls to find their courage and confidence to build character.
