Daily kindie music streams get kids going every morning

There was a time when children’s music was just fine. Largely unremarkable and otherwise meant only for the youngest of kids, but fine.

Now, however, there’s a world of excellent music that parents can dig into just as much as their youngsters – and we’ve got one of the good ones right here in New Hampshire.

Father, musician and educator Aaron Jones – “Mr. Aaron” to the fans of his music – brings a dose of energy (and a really interesting collection of instruments) to his performances.

Now, in the time of the new normal, Mr. Aaron has changed things up. Where he’d typically be on-stage or in front of a classroom using that energy to connect with his audience, he’s joined the legion of musicians using technology to reach his fans.

Mr. Aaron streams a full show every morning at 9:30 a.m. He hits the stream full-speed, energizing and entertaining kids daily.

Here’s just a couple of his recent performances:

He even recently uploaded a collection of quiet bedtime songs designed to help kids wind down after a long day of remote learning and/or unexpectedly contributing to mom and dad’s Zoom video chat/meetings.

Mr. Aaron Bedtime Songs Vol. 1

With a new baby on the way, I put together a little collection of some quiet bedtime songs. We have some fun, wind down together, and then say goodnight 🙂 This one is great for the end of the day, and especially for the little little ones 0-18mo.Thanks to my friend Adeline for the suggestion–I hope this helps you relax and calm down at night 🙂

Visit Mr. Aaron’s Facebook page for his daily streaming shows.

When he’s done, zip right over to someone who has been a rock star in our house since our daughter was born 17 years ago. Laurie Berkner streams every weekday at 10 a.m. She performs from her home, and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch a guest appearance from her daughter or her dog, Winston.

It’s time to take a LIVE Berkner Break! I’ll be here at 10am weekdays for singing, stories, moving our bodies, and more. I’m so excited to sing & dance with you today and celebrate What’s the Word Wednesday! Today’s word is GAMES! I’ll also be choosing some charities that you can donate to if you are able. Today, we are highlighting @International Rescue Committee. They’re working to stop the spread of COVID-19 and help refugees worldwide. You can also support me and other musicians by streaming our music while you do other fun things at home – THANK YOU!
