Coppal House Farm in Lee is hosting a Touch a Tractor Day in October.

Music Director Roger Kalia will lead Symphony NH’s Brass and Percussion in a program that is sure to lift your spirits.  This fun and uplifting program will include popular pieces such as George Gershwin’s “Summertime,” Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” and “Lincoln Portrait,” which will be narrated by Wallace Thomas. Bring your chairs, blankets and masks.

Sci-fi Fridays

B-movie aliens, monsters, and mad scientists under the stars at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center! Admission, limited to the first 50 people, by donation, and snacks and drinks will be for sale. No registration needed, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs. Masks required. The series kicks off with Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959)

Food trucks and fireworks

Food trucks and fireworks, what could be better?! The ‘Cats Food Truck Festival is back for 2020 with new safety and social distancing measures and Atlas fireworks! Guests are welcome to sit on the field; blankets encouraged but chairs not permitted. Face coverings required.

Touch A Tractor Day

Do you or your kids love large farm implements and want to see them up close? Coppal House Farm will have tractors lined up for fun farm photo ops! Tractor cabs will be closed for health safety, but the farm’s tractors will be available to see and take photos with. Be sure to check out the giant corn maze while you are there.

Howl for the animals

Throw on your costume and celebrate the Halloween season at Haunted Overload for the annual Howl for the Animals event. This is a family-friendly event (no scary monsters!) appropriate for kids of all ages. You can trick-or-treat your way through the Haunted Overload day haunt collecting candy from our friendly ghouls. Dogs on leashes are also welcome. COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place.
