Sounds of the Season: Holiday Pops concert @ Manchester Community Music School

Join Manchester Community Music School as it celebrates the “Sounds of the Season” and kicks off the holidays with a wonderful night of festive music, tasty treats, and holiday cheer at the 2019 Holiday Pops Concert.

There will be performances by the Flute Choir, New Hampshire Wind Ensemble, the New Hampshire Youth Concert Orchestra, and the Dino Anagnost Youth Symphony Orchestra of New Hampshire.There will also be raffle prizes – perfect for holiday gift giving, and Santa might stop by if everyone has been really good!

The Holiday Pops Concert is one of two major fundraising events the Manchester Community Music School holds each year. Proceeds from this event help support many Music School Programs including Tuition Assistance, Music Therapy, and the New Hampshire Youth Ensembles.

Skate with the Bruins Alumni Fundraiser for New England Disabled Sports at Loon Mountain. Join us for a holiday adventure, an evening with the Boston Bruins Alumni Team. Skating, cocktails, silent auction, appetizers, photo opportunities and more.

Join some of the Bruins Alumni Roster (subject to change without notice): Terry O’Reilly, Rick Middleton, Bruce Crowder, Dave Shaw, Bob Cormier, Frank Simonetti, Alex Bezanson, John Carter, Terry Virtue, Joe Mullen, Ken Hodge, Frank Walker, Jeff Dumart, Graeme Townshend, Jean Yves Roy, Ken Wonoski & more!

All proceeds from the event will be donated to NE Disabled Sports at Loon Mountain. An incredible roster of more than ten members of the Boston Bruins Alumni Team will travel to Lincoln, NH and spend the evening with us at the RiverWalk.

Join the Bruins Alumni on the ice at The Rink at Riverwalk Resort for a 30 minute skating session. All ages are welcome. These thirty-minute VIP skating sessions will take place from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at The Rink at RiverWalk and are by reservation only, tickets are limited.

Join us from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for the reception, refreshments, cash bar, photo ops, silent auction and live auction – all to benefit New England Disabled Sports. This event is 21 and over, please.

The event is open to the public. You do not need to be a guest staying at RiverWalk to enjoy this event. Tickets and sign ups can be found here

Fun for all ages, this second annual performance of the Cracked Up Nut features ballet, tap, jazz and acrobatics in an exciting new twist on the holiday classic. There will also be raffles and a bake sale to raise funds for the La Strega dance scholarship program.

Taste of Bedford gives you the opportunity to sample a dozen Bedford restaurants. We also will provide crafts for kids, raffles, and live music to enjoy.

Family ticket deals available. All proceeds go to BHS DECA to offset competition costs.

The 4th annual Bob Gilman Fun run is approaching. This ski/snowboard race is for all ages and abilities and will be held at Manchester’s McIntyre Ski Area. Each run will be timed and awards will be given in over a dozen age categories and for each gender for first, second and third places. Last year we had over 100 participants and hope to have even more this year.

McIntyre will be open to the public and the race will be free to participate in with the purchase of a lift ticket. If you register online, prior to the race, you will get your ticket for just $20 and all proceeds will benefit the cause, care of McIntyre Ski Area. The tubing park, learn to ski area as well as ski and snowboard rentals and the lodge will all be open as well.

There will be an outdoor tiki bar and raffles will be held in conjunction with this event. An awards ceremony will be held at 1 p.m.

Money raised from raffles will be donated to local charities that help cancer patients with taxi rides to treatments or prescriptions they may have a hard time paying for.
