Veterans Day parades and events

Veteran's Day is on Sunday, November 11, 2018



New Hampshire Veterans Day events:

  • Veterans events and ceremonies at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.
    • Various events, breakfasts, screenings and ceremonies will be held throughout the week (November 6-11, 2018) leading up to Veterans Day.

  • Veterans Day Parade in Manchester, NH.
    • This event takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018
    • The parade begins at 10:40 a.m. at Salmon and Elm streets before pausing at 11 a.m. in front of City Hall for taps to be played. It concludes at Veterans Memorial Park, where a short ceremony will take place.
    • Organized by the Manchester Veterans Council.
       
  • Veterans Day Ceremony in Plaistow, NH.
    • Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the Plaistow Town Green.

  • Veterans Day Ceremony at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH.
    • This event takes place on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11 a.m.
    • Join the residents and staff of the New Hampshire Veterans Home in paying tribute to all those who have served their country, in times of peace and war, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. A coffee social event precedes the ceremony, starting at 10:15. Free and open to the public.

  • Veterans Day Showcase at the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH.
    • This event takes place on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

    • Admission is free to members of the military, veterans and their families.
       
  • Veterans Day Ceremony at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
    • This event takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 11 a.m.

  • Annual Liberty House Veterans Day Breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Nashua, NH.
    • This event takes place on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 8-10:30 a.m.
    • Tickets: $25 for veterans and $35 for non-veterans. Visit libertyhousenh.org for more information.
       
  • Veterans Day Parade in Nashua, NH.
    • This event takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 10:15 a.m.
    • The parade begins at Holman Stadium.

  • Veterans Day Service at Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge, NH.
    • This event takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 11 a.m.

  • Veterans Day Parade in Londonderry, NH.
    • This event takes place on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10 a.m.

    • The parade starts at Londonderry High School and continues to the town common.
       
  • Veterans Day Parade in Peterborough, NH.
    • This event takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
    • There will be a Remembrance Service at All Saints Church on 51 Concord Street at 9 a.m.

  • Veterans Day Service and Recognition in Dunbarton.
    • This event takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 10:45 p.m. at the Dunbarton Town Hall.

  • 12th Annual Veteran's Day Concert in Plaistow.
    • This is a free event and takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Timberlane Performing Arts Center.

  • Veterans Day services in Portsmouth, NH.
    • This event takes place on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 11 a.m.
    • Ceremony takes place at Goodwin Park. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held at the upstairs hall at the American Legion at 96 Islington Street.
       
  • World War I Centenary at Canterbury Shaker Village in Canterbury
    • Join the Canterbury Historical Society and Canterbury Shaker Village for a special program commemorating the centennial of World War I on the anniversary of Armistice Day.
