Spend the night in Pandora

Disney contest offers out-of-this-world camping opportunity

Camping in New Hampshire: Sleeping bags, mosquitoes, raccoons rummaging through your cooler.

Camping at Walt Disney World: Custom, curated experiences unfolding during an unforgettable evening under the breathtaking floating mountains of Pandora in (if the promo images are to be believed) a tent that puts most hotel suites to shame.

And maybe a banshee or leonopteryx buzzing your site.

Disney has just announced a chance for you to win a one-of-a-kind experience – an opportunity glamp overnight in Pandora – the World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

One person, and his or her plus-one, will have a chance to experience Pandora like no other guest has. Visit Disney.com/dcamp and explain why you want to win. And since this is Disney, creativity and storytelling are important. Entrants will make their case by way of video, submitted before Thursday, June 21. So get on it.

Pandora – The World of Avatar, which opened to guests just over a year ago, immerses guests in a mystical world of massive floating mountains, bioluminescent rainforests and breathtaking new experiences. Guests explore an awesome alien landscape, encounter a larger-than-life Na’vi shaman and soar over Pandora on the back of a fearsome mountain banshee. The addition of Pandora was the largest in the 20-year history of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

ParentingNH got an early look at Pandora when it opened last year. Have a look here:
