Study Skills, STEM Labs, NC Idol, Junior High Success, Survival Camp, Arts and Crafts, No Bake Snack Creations and Jam Band! This summer is not to be missed!
The session runs July 30 through August 3, 2018. The morning session runs 8-11 a.m. and the afternoon session runs 12-3 p.m. Students attending BOTH courses may bring a lunch and stay for lunch/activities. We have a pizza party for the full-day students on Friday. There is something for everyone entering grades 6-8! The tween years are our specialty!

Students attending NC in the fall and their siblings get a $10 discount on each 1/2 day course. Non-NC students get a $10 discount after paying for two 1/2 courses at full price.

Based on the critically acclaimed "Top 20 Teens", this program is filled with fun, engaging, real-life examples and down-to-earth practical advice. Students learn social skills, coping skills and how to work to his or her greatest potential in Junior High.
Explore basic study skills essential for success in school. Topics include: motivation, time management, organization, active listening, test preparation, note taking, reading comprehension, memory tips, effective group work, internet research, public speaking, and more! This session runs 8-11 a.m.
Engineering Challenges: Explore principles and experiments on the engineering design process. This session runs from 12-3 p.m.
Make delicious no bake snacks and sweets for summer treats. Make and try cool ideas for your lunch box or a day on the go.
Join and perform with a group of other musicians to collectively learn and perform Jam Band based music selections. Students with or without musical instruments (guitar, bass, keys, percussion, strings, wind) are welcome. No experience needed to join!
Learn and sing songs from various influences and genres in a round table fashion: Work with a vocal coach on songs you would like to sing better, as well as songs you may not know. Individuals and groups are welcome!
Create your own beautiful & useful crafts such as bracelets, jewelry, picture frames, pop cards, mini scrapbooks and homemade cards for holidays and birthdays.
Come and learn basic outdoor survival skills from a trained survivalist! Meet at Nashua Catholic then travel to Greeley Park (weather permitting) to learn skills such as: hiking, orienteering, fire and shelter building, plant and wildlife identification, fishing, and all around enjoyment of the outdoors. You will receive a survival kit. Bring non-perishable bagged lunch Monday through Thursday. Friday, we will be doing some outdoor cooking.
ONLY $155* per course! Survival Course is $310 & includes Survival Kit! If you register before June 1st, a non-refundable $75 deposit must be paid for each course (with balance due for the course no later than one week prior to the course's start date). Sandwiches and sides are offered for Lunch (11:00 A.M. to noon) to any student who is with us for a full day either week. (Survival Camp participants bring their own non-perishable lunches Monday-Thursday and do outdoor cooking on Friday).
