Hosted by Church of the Redeemer, this is a free camp for children in grades 1 through 8 during the 3rd or 4th week in July. Each day from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., a dedicated staff of CTR adults lead 15 to 30 children in a discovery of what it means to be a New Creation based on 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” Activities include daily Bible stories, songs and age-appropriate discussion, as well as arts & crafts, woodworking, archery, outdoor games, drama, excursions to local Derryfield Park, and science-based exploration of God's creation. Campers should bring a brown-bagged lunch; snacks are provided. Thursday night we invite families to join us for a cookout with live music at the Church.
