Camp Lovewell is a weekly day camp for kids, ages 6-14, who don't mind getting their hands dirty or their feet wet. Enjoy the great outdoors as we embark on a summer journey of inquiry, observation, and exploration. Campers will discover all of the wonders of our fields, forests, ponds, wetlands, and working farm as they are provided the opportunity to participate in various activities and programs that will stretch their imagination and test their capabilities. Activities include:
> swimming (pond & saltwater pool)
> low ropes
> drama, skits, & songs
> arts & crafts
> field games & sports
> nature hikes
> barnyard visits
Children from 5-14 are welcome! To join our half-day Little Lovewells, campers must turn 5 and enter kindergarten by September 30th of the corresponding camp season. To join Camp Lovewell, campers must turn 6 and enter first grade by September 30th of the corresponding camp season.
Our most recent accreditation visit from the American Camp Association took place in 2016 and we received a perfect score!
Yes! Campers may sign up for extended care, at an additional cost, from 7:30am-6pm.
