Earth Day is Saturday, April 22, 2017.

Earth Day Volunteer Garden Clean Up Day in Portsmouth

Join Strawbery Banke's inspired community of garden volunteers and help bring new life to the Historic Gardens at Strawbery Banke. Volunteers will gather out on “Puddle Dock” at 8:30 for refreshments and work  assignments and gardening work begins at 9:00. Volunteers are encouraged to wear all-weather work clothes, and bring along your favorite gardening tools, gloves and a potluck dish.
When: Saturday, April 15, 2017; 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (followed by potluck lunch)
Where: Strawbery Banke Museum, 14 Hancock Street, Portsmouth, NH

Earth Day Festival - Protect and Connect in Auburn

There will be bird banding demonstrations, live animals, prize drawings, ‘build your own birdhouse’ kits for sale, games, mural painting, crafts, scavenger hunts, live music, and marshmallow roasting around the campfire.
When: Saturday, April 8, 2017; 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Massabesic Audubon Center, 26 Audubon Way, Auburn, NH
Admission: $20 for families, $7 for individuals

Earth Day Celebration

Make a bird kite, plant a maple tree, create a bird house and take part in the daily farm chores. Don't forget to visit with the animals!
When: Friday, April 21, 2017; 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: New Hampshire Farm Museum, 1305 White Mountain Hwy, Route 125, Milton, NH
Admission: $5 adult, $ 3 child ages 4-17 yrs, museum members free.

Earth Day Celebration at the Farm

Enjoy a day filled with activities including: participating in farm chores, going on a bird walk and talk, watch a blacksmith demo and participate in group trivia.
When: Friday, April 21, 2017; 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm, 58 Cleveland Hill Road, Tamworth, NH
Admission: $5 per person, ages 4 and under are free

Souhegan Sustainability Fair

Attendees can enjoy an exhibit hall, hands-on workshops and presentations, local food vendors and a science fair. Learn and share ideas on socially and environmentally responsible living.

Where: Wilton-Lyndeborough Middle and High School, 57 School Road, Wilton, NH

Earth Day Celebration in Dover

Visitors will enjoy a variety of demonstrations, activities and information as they get their hands dirty while learning about our Earth, the environment and our local ecosystem.
When: Saturday, April 22, 2017; 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Children's Museum of NH, 6 Washington Street, Dover, NH
Admission: Activities included with museum admission ($9 for adults and children over 1)

Monadnock Earth Day Festival in Keene

More than 30 area nonprofit organizations and local sustainable businesses are gathering together to showcase their contributions to the vibrancy and wellness of the Monadnock Region.
When: Saturday, April 22, 2017; 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Cypress Street (next to the Food Co-op), Keene, NH
Admission: Free and open to the public

The Rescue Run: Race for Marine Mammals

Run, race or walk to help save the seals. This scenic 5k cross-country trail brings you along the coast and through beautiful Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH. Kids, sign up for the Kids Fun Run 300-yard dash or half-mile run, where every child wins a prize.
When: Saturday, April 22, 2017; 9 a.m.
Where: Seacoast Science Center, Rye, NH

7th Annual Stonyfield Earth Day 5k and Earth Day Fair in Londonderry

The morning kicks off with a 5K run or walk on a gentle rolling course followed by a super post-race celebration featuring live music, great food and beverages. While you groove to the music be sure to take advantage of our free buffet of healthy snacks featuring delicious Stonyfield products of course and take a tour of our Earth Day Fair booths and exhibits.
When: Saturday, May 13, 2017; 10 a.m.
